Health care workers need a union that understands their unique concerns. Local One is that union for 2,500 health care workers at 15 facilities. Local One assigns union representatives who specialize in health care. They understand issues such as understaffing, scheduling, safety and fair wages and benefits.

Our members work in hospitals and nursing homes. Some provide home care. They include LPNs, nursing assistants, technicians, housekeepers, clerks, food servers, and maintenance workers.
